Summer is my most favourite of the four seasons. The reason being, I like to walk around in loosely fitting chiffon tops and short dresses. Also, summer colours are pretty amazing and I do not need to wear bulky coats!
A lot of blogs out there insist on the latest trendy clothes that go out of style as soon as they came in. Sad, right?
In this article, I am going to share tips on how to remain fashionable during the summer. These are styles that never go out of fashion.
Sunglasses are one of the most common fashion accessories in summer. Apart from making you look trendy and adding flair to your outfit, sunglasses protect your eyes from the intense summer light as well as protect you from the sun’s damaging ultra-violet rays.
To ensure you remain fashionable, you can go through multiple options as per your preference & purchase the perfect sunglasses online.
Since it is during the summer, make sure you buy sunglasses that offer almost 100% ultra-violet rays protection. To further protect you from the sun, go for the ones with bigger lenses. If you do not know what sunglasses would suit & fit your face-type, you can read some articles on choosing the right pair of sunglasses for yourself.
- Braid your hair
As absurd as it may seem, braiding your hair is one of the most perfect summer styles. If you do not have the time to braid, you could wear it in a bun or ponytail.
Additionally, due to the intense summer heat, wearing a weave or wig is likely to make you sweat more. What’s more, braids and buns are hairstyles that never go out of fashion and are ideal for every outfit.
- Go for flowy dresses and tops
For a summer vibe, go for light flowy dresses and tops. Skin-tight clothing not only makes you sweat more but are too constricting on the beach.
Whether you are looking to wear a dress, shorts, or rompers, go for clothing made from chiffon, lace, silk, or light cotton.
However, make sure these light clothing have structures like seams or other embroidery patterns to avoid them clinging on your body as soon as you break a sweat.
- Wear quality makeup
Instead of buying any makeup, go for quality ones that do not melt. Otherwise, you could end up looking a mess at the beach.
Additionally, you can buy heatproof makeup bags with insulated interiors to ensure your actual makeup does not melt as you carry them around in your bag.
If you do not have the heatproof bag, you could freeze a zip-loc bag overnight then put all your makeup in it afew minutes before heading out. This is, however, a short-term fix before purchasing quality makeup bags.
- Hats are a must-have
If you have ever had sunburns, then you know the importance of wearing hats during summer. It is an unwritten rule that every person should own at least one hat.
Hats are stylish and depending on the type you wear, they can complement your outfit in ways you could not imagine. Besides, hats are perfect for protecting your face from the harmful UV rays.
